Green House Plans

Here are some tips for buying the good green house plans.

The plans should include specific details about where to best locate your new green house. Some green houses require very little maintenance and utilities to grow your plants, others require more service. Extra maintenance can mean locating your green house somewhere different then you initially thought.
Somewhere close to water  and electricity for heating and lighting.

Materials:

There are only a few common materials used to construct the frame of a growing house ( PVC piping,  wood, and aluminum)

  1. PVC is low cost and gives great options for irrigation and misting
  2. Wood looks more natural and is easier to build
  3. Aluminum is commonly used because it is easy to maintain but more expensive

Different shapes and sizes:
The more plants, trees, flowers, etc. you plan on growing the more room you will need. Make sure your plans include designs, blueprints, and instructions for several sizes and shapes of structure.

Foundation and Floor:
A proper foundation and floor is critical. You don't want a puddle of water from irrigating your plants inside your greenhouse.  If you use a dirt floor you want to use a cover so weeds can't spring up.

Keep these tips in mind when purchasing your greenhouse blueprint guide or plans.
A set of good green house plans should include all this information.
